Instrument cluster/blinkers dont work. Help!

Hey guys.

Okay so here is the deal. About 3 months ago my instrument cluster (everything except the speedo)went out. The blinkers and reverse light did too. I figured they were all tied in together. I checked the fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel, and none were blown.

The car is a 1995. I was going to see if anyone else has had a similar issue.

Any advice/ help would be greatly appreciated.

No one has experienced a similar problem?

no

Sounds like the wireing harness to the cluster is horked.

I had my blinker fuse blow on me a couple times, ended up being a pinched wire under the driver side sill, which I had recently taken off. Have you done and recent modifications (electrical or not), or removed any interior pieces? double check fuses, they can fool you sometimes as to whether or not they're blown. And double check the right amp fuse is in there. Cause you are naming the systems controlled by the 'meter' fuse (10A) and 'hazard' fuse (15A). Double check both of those.

Doug, didnt this happen right after installing your new transmission? Perhaps something pinched and is shorting out?

I thought the same thing, but this happened a couple months before I swapped the trannies.
