Intake Adapter

Anyone know where i can find an intake adapter for my 1990 Miata so that it will fit the O2 Sensor

rharris19 10-30-2010 12:56 AM

Do you mean AIT sensor? The O2 sensor goes in the exhaust

AKanadian47 10-30-2010 12:57 AM

The really big one that leads into the stock intake box i thought it was the O2 could be the AIT not sure

In that picture you see the intake hose go into what i thought was the O2 then it leads into the air box i want to know where to find the fitting to put on a K&N filter.

That is the Air Flow Meter. You can go get an adapter off ebay or at autozone

Thanks srry to come off like such an idiot xD also do crankcase breathers really do anything beneficial or do they just kind of look cool?

rharris19 10-30-2010 01:26 AM

They don't add anything. It is just a way of modifying the intake track once you go to an intercooler and you don't want to reroute that back in.

If you get rid if the filter you will end up sucking way higher IAT's than the stock snorkel location.
