If it's a PITA I'll stick with my original plan of just a small pressure switch. I figure engagement around 8-10psi would be good since the temps are going to climb at that boost anyway, maybe 10psi. I am seeing 10psi at 6500rpm, 10.5 at 7100, around 8.7 between 3000-5000. I have to re-review the datalogs for more accurate info. I know I would have to tune additional cells in the Hydra fuel map with the IC spray on since without it those cells probably aren't going to be hit while running. Just do it on the dyno.

It's easy. Pick a 2D pwm map or USER setting based on some internal variable (air temp...) and have it turn on then. I can help you set it up and I know the secret of hte hydra pinouts :)

guess you shouldn't use AC either incase the water drips.

Yay for smartass newbs :) you'll ft right in.

With something to just spray the IC under extremely hot temps, I don't see why it would not work.

I'm on the same page as ben...I like the FMIC as the main device for keeping intake temps in check. but utilizing the WI function on MS to drive some sort of sprayer to battle heatsoat in extreme conditions is how I'd like to do it. Since we can control the onset at rpm, temp, and boost level.
