Question Still cant get it to start

Hey back again, and i still cant get my car to start.

A quick review it will try and start as soon as it turns over it dies wont turn over again unless i turn the key off and back on

Replaced parts in order:

Cas
fuses ( room fuse was blown )
ecu
coil pack
ignition switch ( when i replaced this it turned over ran for about 5 sec died )

I tried jumping the fuel pump to run on diagnostic port still didnt fix the problem, also tried the led light with a resistor no light nothing just 1 fast flash when the key is turned to acc then stays off.

The fuel pump does prime and if i hold the gas down and start it, it will rev up then die. It seems as soon as the car starts something tells it to turn off no clue what else it could be. Answers would be great no rude comments please.

The car is a 95 1.8 5 speed

What do the plugs look like? Are they gas soaked?

I'm not saying that's the issue, just trying to get an idea of where you're at.

On my 99 unplugging the maf creates a super rich condition. I'm not sure if a faulty maf would cause the same issues as an unplugged one, but it may be your next step if the plugs appear fuel soaked and you've already replaced a bunch of other shiite.

Most repair shops have the ability to scan an obd1 vehicle, might want start there. It'll pinpoint your issue and save you lots of troubleshooting. I'm not sure if the older miatas had a way to pull codes manually or not but if so....

Dude put your intake back on! The maf is useless unless it sees airflow.

Idk what other issues you might run into using a replacement/used ecu. It may take a while for it to self-adjust the fuel trim and ignition tables too?
