just ordered wheels

but not the bear wheels :gay:

some Kosei K1 racing, 7*15:)

curious how long shipping will take tho...

SamS 02-22-2007 04:48 PM

I 'm still happy with my K1's after almost a year, although I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving.:gay:

Oscar 02-22-2007 05:25 PM

lol
how come?

SamS 02-22-2007 05:55 PM

I don't want to subject them to the salt on our roads, so I put on my 14" american racing wheels with snow tires for the winter.

kotomile 02-22-2007 08:44 PM

I like my 15x7 K1s, wish I'd known about the 15x8s though.

i see, i'm using the stock 14" wheels for the winter

I love my K1's - I've had them on the car for at least six or seven years and more than 100K miles. They've survived the allegedly paved roads of the NYC metro area nicely.

Oscar 02-23-2007 05:47 PM

can't wait to get them, even tho i still need the tires sorted out..
how quick is tirerack with shipping?
(they need to come to holland, but still, wondering...)

They should give you an estimate.

Just a guess, but they're probably fast. After all, who wants their race tires/new parts quickly? Everyone :) .

Oscar 02-23-2007 06:12 PM

good
i already noticed they aren't the quickest when it comes to replying to emails tho..

UofACATS 02-23-2007 06:44 PM

Nah, they're busy shipping wheels!

The shipping will determine the time anyway. Tirerack just loads em up, and sends them off, probably the same day.

Oscar 02-23-2007 07:03 PM

then it's all up to UPS then :)

Al Hounos 02-23-2007 07:08 PM

Is it good livin in the netherlands?

Oscar 02-23-2007 07:31 PM

yea not bad, i'm not complaining much, besides from the weather that can be absolute shite and lots of riced civics/vw's and ofcourse a serious lack of turboed miata's (including mine..), but hey, 10 mins from amsterdam :)

rotaryjunky 02-24-2007 01:58 PM

You have money left over for your car and you live 10 min from the worlds most glorious den of evil, impressive. You must have some serious self control.

Oscar 02-24-2007 02:44 PM

:gay:

the only controlling factor here is my bank account:ugh2:

Oscar 03-06-2007 11:52 AM

I still need to get some rubbber, even though i still haven't got the wheels yet..:sadwavey:
it's gonna be either 205-50-15 or 205-45-15 toyo t1r. only the 45 is about $100 more expensive per set then the 50, but i find the 50 sidewall fugly...:gtfo:
other opinions?

Al Hounos 03-06-2007 11:58 AM

Yeah, 225/45:cool:

Oscar 03-06-2007 12:01 PM

even on a 15*7?
can't really justify that wide of a tire with stock power :gay:

Al Hounos 03-06-2007 12:04 PM

I've got 225 hoosiers (even bigger than most street 225) on a 6" rim. But that's silly I suppose. You set on the toyo? what about azenis or rs2?
