okay so I'm going to have my car diagnosed FINALLY at KE Rodgers and they want me to make a list of all the things that I want them to check...

my cars symptons currently...
-greyish smoke out exhaust
-spews oil over like 85mph under boost
-4th cyl. spark plug is absolutly covered in black/oil
-horrible idle
-when running an abnormal amount of white fumes spew out the head as well

this is not just a quick pcv fix anymore....it is most likely the rings but still help.

please help me make a list of all the things i should ask them to check so they aren't searching.

Check for coolant in the oil.... Could be a head gasket leaking compression into places it shouldn't. White smoke is coolant.... not oil.

Are you loosing oil? I found with mine... I was going through 1L / 1000 km, and it was definately the rings. Compression was down, to 150's on the front, to 140 or 145's on the #4 cylinder.

#4 plug, implies that it's definately getting oil from somewhere. Valves or rings... probably rings though.

Have you checked the amount of vac? I found that crap idle was worse when you have some form of weak vac..... When I threw a tooth on the timing belt (I think it was a clogged cat for a second), it wouldn't idle either. Sounded like a lumpy cam.

Compression test/lean down would be the first place to start. Check for oil in the coolant, or coolant in the oil.

How much mileage? It might be simipler to grab a used motor from a wrecker and do the swap.....
