LC1 with Stock ECU
I'm going to reinstall my LC1 and have an output (simulated narrowband) go to the stock ECU. Can I just cut the narrowband O₂ wire right next to the ECU connector and solder the LC1 output there? The pin number is 2N.
Also, I'm changing the 12v supply from the engine bay and splicing into the radio 12v supply because I want something that is switched during cranking. I don't know what current the LC1+stereo draws, but that should be fine, right? No fires wanted. Can I also source 12v for a voltmeter gauge from the LC1+stereo supply? |
Yes you can splice in the LC-1 into the 2N and have it work. I had my stock ecu using the narrowband from my LC-1 for over 2 years without a problem.
I am not sure about the 12v line, but I assume it would be fine. |
Awesome thank you. Up and running, no blown fuse.

Okay small problem. I am getting error code 9 which means low supply voltage, and the LC1 won't do anything. I am tapping directly off of the yellow +battery wire on my stereo harness. When I switch the power source to the engine bay 12v, everything works fine. wtf?
I'm going to check with a multimeter after sleep. |
