$325.00 for hood shipped
$95.00 Catches
Cutting holes in my $325.00 hood
$200.00 - $500.00 to have hood painted...

On the low side that hood is gonna cost around $620.00?
Paint is over-rated..

id be second behind you! id punch a baby in the face for a set! (not literally) but the only other place i have seen selling the flares is Japanparts.com - Mail order from Japan directly|JDM Parts,Performance Auto Parts, for Subaru, Mazda,Mitsubishi,Honda,Nissan,Toyota car and if im not mistaken there 99's are a lil over $800 before shipping!

[QUOTE=Cspence;470127]Where did you get them? How much did you pay? and you wanna sell em?
This is the only place I know that carrys them for the US...Over priced I might add
REV9 Autosport

bought them when i bought my car. had to pay separately for them since my buddy had just spent $850 plus shipping! this was probably 2.5 years ago. anyway, if i sold them i would have to get $600. not sure yet, they have been sitting here though. i paid $750 2 years ago.

and yeah, the fitment between these and those a.konexion ones are on totally different levels. these fit like factory pieces.

Yeah...$817
japanparts.com : PARTS DATABASE

On the bright side, at least we have the ability to get them....I thought for a while these were damn near impossible to get in the states...

Keep me in mind if you decide to part with them...

No real desire to make flares unless I straight up copied another flare set. It would be a pain in the *** to make it symmetrical and look good.

Plus, I couldn't do it in the same price=cost to make fashion that I doing the hoods right now.

Damn...I was hoping you were going to say if we got enough people together that you'd buy a real set and knock em off...you may be able to make enough money to make it worth while if there were a few of us commited to buy. Figure your expenses would consist of $900 for a real set + Mold charges (No idea on cost, but imagine it can't be that bad for you if your doing the hood one)....at $300-$400 a clip, it would'nt take long to break even and/or turn a decent margin

I will shamlessly copy a set of flares, but I am not paying $900 for the set. Too much of a risk unless a bunch of people really wanted them. We will see what people think of my work with the fiberglass hoods and go from there. Making 4 different molds is kind of a pain in the ***. Takes a fair amount of time ot make sure you get all the little details in the molds.

If only there was a member that had a set laying around that would let me copy them.....................

dude, if you seriously will make flares i would send you the money for my set before there even made!

the real set is like 900 bucks! and if you get at least 4 committed buyers to send you the money for a set before hand, that would cover the cost of the originals and the molding cost..........then its a snowball effect from there! whenever sombody wants a set make it!

IF I did start making flares, I wouldn't take any money until I actually start making them. Also, it won't be for atleast a couple months.

I don't have an NB, so it would be kind of hard to make an NB hood.

I support the idea of Tuckin99 N2 replicas. Have wanted them for a couple of years, but like others, cannot justify almost a grand to get them.
