What type of material are the original flares made of...fiberglass? From the pictures spoolin posted it looked like they were'nt fiberglass maybe urathane, but after seeing the reps maybe they just have a gelcoat on the inside as well..

Good lord that would be horrible to try to make. all those sharp lines to make sure the gelcoast gets in there perfect. I wouldn't wish making that hood on anyone. Definately looks crazy.

Too funny about that silver NB hood. Im going to make a vented hood for the NB guys and i had looked into those vents. I decided on something else though.

You are going to make a hood for the NB guys? Good deal. I was worried as to when I could come up with something.

What's so funny about that hood? C'mon, challenges are a good thing! If it were me, I'd make the vents using seperate molds, make the hood and graph the pieces together with some glass cloth. But really, just making those vents alone and letting buyers rivet them onto a stock, cut-up hood. I think people would buy vents that are contoured to the stock hood.

Another camera phone pic. I will have a better camera when I get back from the weekend and take more pictures.

The molded headlight lids hood ever get made?? Any "on car" pics besides the mocked up picture buried in this thread somewhere?

Default Fiberglass quarters

Can you make fiberglass NB quarter panels and front fenders?? I honestly dont care much about the weight savings, but more about RUST! and Im starting to rust... BAD.

I dont think I'd want the widebody kits, as they would make the car look a lot like a P944.

I'd appreciate any help!
