Thanks man. I figured it based on FCM's spreadsheet for 2.25/1.99 bounce frequency front and rear, 3121 lb-ft/deg roll stiffness and a 66.4% front roll couple using FM's solid front and no rear bar. This "SHOULD" be tuned for a neutral to slight oversteer but we'll see at my next VIR event. I may go with Racing Beat's 1-1/8" hollow bar in the future to save a little weight in the front without messing up the settings.

Next purchase - Longacre corner weight scales because I live in BFE Virginia with no shops close by to corner balance my car after I install my DFVs. ~sigh~

Got them thru a friend - Stasis sales manager - for much less than Goodwin is asking. Not sure I can say without getting him in trouble so I won't.

*Edit* - By the way, he's a certified Ohlins service technician so people on the west coast can send the shocks into Stasis Engineering to have him rebuild them if needed. East coast, I think the service company is in NC some place. I have to find out but that's a while away. I'll deal with it then.

Let me know how you like those. I opted for the JIC FLT-A2s, but am starting to regret it.. The performance is amazing but the build quality SUCKS. I'm anxious to see how those hold up for you.

Installed - and they are as advertised. I cranked them full hard for last month's VIR's full track HPDE and the results were that I was more aggressive everywhere on the track compared to a previous event on the Tokico/FM spring setup. Less nose dive and a steadier rear end when I stood on the brakes at the end of the front and back straights (I wore thru most of my race pads this time vs. hardly noticible wear last time), the RA-1s were getting used much more effectivly allowing me to carry more speed thru the high speed corners and hair pins. The rumble-strips were sucked up without me jumping off them and causing a opposite lock correction. One thing though, the rates might still be too soft for the track if you can believe it. I may get a set of 14/10s for the next one.

So I come home and cranked them back 5 clicks all around and drive to work the next morning and it like I was back on the Tokico/FMs. The spring rates do nothing to compromise the ride. I guess the shocks handle the rates just fine. It's true, you really can have two different handling cars! Unbelievable.

Have you two followed emillio's thread on m.net about his development of his "XIDA" setup? It looks to be a good "track" system. I just didn't want to fool with a double-adjustable setup because 1.) I don't know how to 2.) I'd have to test and gather data for the best settings and I only could do that on the track. 3.) I'm too lazy.

That's pretty great, glad you like them so much. How did you like the illumina FM spring setup you had before? How about the 330mm steering wheel, still using the PS or not?

Illuminas/FMs are a good setup for the street. Take it autocross or track it and it shows its flaws quickly. You get a "floaty" feeling. Bad nose dive and the quick transistions from one side to another was not good. I just didn't like it and I knew it didn't feel right.

My Sparco steering wheel...I still have it powered but it did tighten up they effort a little bit. Feels like there's something in the column resisting it...like some foam in there. But turning, especially in autcrossing, is a little quicker now. I think it would feel strange if I put back on my stock wheel. FYI - I'm 5'8" and I can't see the top of the speedometer or tach anymore. Always a compromise isn't it?
