Mandrel alum 90 bend

I'm in need of dire help, folks.
Trying to alter my radiator's filling point, and I can't seem to find a small radius aluminum 1" (ID) pipe with a 90 degree mandrel bend in it. Been searching high and low, and the only answer I've gotten so far is one local supplier who wants $180 for the 6" pipe.

If anyone knows, please, help a brother out!

If it's for fill tube, why does it have to be such a specific OD/ID aside from having whatever cap flange you're using match up. Just flare some tube. How tight of an arclength are you looking?

Sharpe has $100 minimum.
A (straight) 6" length of 1" ID pipe is about $10...

I need a 90 degree bend, plus, I'm sawing off the fill top off my fill bottle and I need an elbow bend to join the two pieces.

why a bend? You can't just cut the tube at 45° rotate and make a 90°?

What is so complicated about this that it needs such a specific piece for a fill tube. Please satisfy my curiosity.

Pressure, radiator, ease of filling

So ordering a relatively obscure small radius mandrel pipe which may cost more, versus just making a 90° elbow from a cheap straight pipe will make a huge difference if it's providing the same function? This still doesn't make sense unless the corner of the elbow itself provides some wacky interference.

Maybe take a piece of straight aluminum to an exhaust shop that has a mandrel bender?

Thread of the day. Thank you.

Unfortunately, McMaster doesn't offer tight enough radius.
Thanks, though.

This is probably your best bet... Does it need to be mandrel for a fill point? Yeah it doesnt look as great but you really dont need the high flow rate mandrel bend for a fill point.
