Default Help me!!! I have a couple problems.

drove my miata which i just got about 2 weeks on a 300 mile round trip. while driving back home halfway on the trip through a mountain pass going up my car got hot on the very top. I pulled over immediately and shut it off. when cooled, i started it back up but it wouldn't stay running or idle on its own.

after getting back home i messed around with the vacuum lines and now it runs and ides normal. Tonight after driving back from the gym my car was smelling like burning oil. I checked and there was oil coming out of the valve cover entire right side and it looks like the oil dip stick popped up and shot out oil everywhere.

i have a vacuum hose which connects to the front side of my aerodyne solinoid and i had it plugged into my intake vacuum lines but im pretty sure it does not belong there. I do not know where it connects.

why am i shooting oil out the valve cover, oil fill cap , and fill tube?
anyone have a aerodyne vacuum kit?

i checked my aerodyne kit install papers that came with the car. It says i need to leave tube 2 on the piston controller open to the atmosphere. I had it hooked up to my vacuum on my intake.

alright i think i figured out the problem. re did my vacuum line to where they were supposed to go and now no oil coming out of the cap or valve cover. Its still leaking out the fill tube but the oring are bad.
