Miata starts and immediately dies.
 

So basically my na has been a potato for two weeks and I cannot figure out where the problem is. Every time I start the car it dies right away, I can get a rev out of it but it does not help the car run at all.
So far I have replaced the main relay and the fuel pump relay, replaced the CAS, replaced the fuel filter and checked for fuel pressure (was good), ive taken the ignition switch out and cleaned it up, checked every fuse, checked for spark( have spark), Ive also tried getting any stored codes (none), and jumping the fuel pump, Ive also inspected and cleaned the grounds with no luck. So far none of these have helped. If anyone has any advice or placed to look next, please help out.

Assuming stock, could it be the MAF/AFM going bad? When I first put my car together, i forgot to plug it in and so the car would start and then die.

yep, shes still stock. Regarding the MAF (94) Ive unplugged it to see what changes and when I unplug it my issue seems to get even worse, cant even get a rev out of it before she dies down. To me that would eliminate it being the MAF but I could be wrong, what can I do to check the MAF?

I would guess cam or crank sensor sync loss, possible failure. Or fuel pump makes enough flow and pressure to get a priming pulse but doesn't keep up when it starts to run.

Try pulling the iac off and see if its clogged? Could be preventing it from idling. Possibly a large vaccuum leak somewhere as well.
