Default Squeaky Clutch?

about 1k on a Spec stage 2.5 (whatever) clutch.

have a squeak/squeal when I let it out from a stop into first at low rpm IE in a parking lot or taking off from a stop sign. Is this a normal thing? I know its trivial and I should have done the FM or ACT, but it was convenient and cheap. I have not raped on the car because I was told by a friend (trustworthy in miatas ect, not a tool or amateur) that it needs more like 1k miles to really break in before I drive it hard.

It is not a throw out bearing noise or pilot bearing. i know what those sound like. AFAIK it is also not the tires, because if i give it a little more gas they spin pretty silently....

whats the deal?

Did you lube up the throwout bearing when you installed it? The tip of the slave does need it too.
