just a little bored and wanted to express my hard work.. will post more pics and videos soon.. with details on the build. MOTOR GOING IN TOMORROW :brain:

Everything looks great, you've obviously put the hours into this car.

It's just that crummy turbo manifold. That turbo manifold is GOING to fail. It's just a matter of time. They are notorious for being shit. Also, it's not just the welds, it's the super thin steel that cracks.

More work means have a new manifold made from one of our awesome forum fabricators or buy a new/used quality manifold from the classifieds.

yeah the head is just a rebuild with some strength lol.. and yeah i know but the manifold was a quick buy and im doing things to try and support it.. ive put almost $3,800 in the car and as most of you know its mostly surprising payments.. so money is tight but ay ITS THE TURBO LIFE. I STILL LOVE IT :)

nice car man. have you looked into the JGS manifolds? Thats probably what im gonna run on mine. either that or get the flanges cut and just but the Schedule 40 elbows and Ts

motor goes in tomorrow im cant wait.. this turbo cost is even messing with my mw3 purchase.. lol but in time ill have it all .

i would actually be more then appreciative if i can receive some help on these "MEGASQUIRTS" ive only seen them for $600 and thats a pretty hefty price knowing i have to go get a wideband as well.

One of the admins of this site, PM him. He'll build you a MS unit for around $400 or $450 I believe, a fair bit cheaper than the MSPNP unit at $600, and although you'll be using an adapter harness, it'll also be PNP.

Looking great, dude! But that manifold is killing me on the inside, lol

EDIT: Cool idea with the intercooler mounting using the L tabs. Any issues with clearance for the bumper?

yeah i will be able to post more pics later today or tomorrow .. and the L tabs fit perfect.. everĄthing is ready i just need to do a custom downpipe which should be done tomorrow or the next day and then i am ready to go..

custom down piping came out pretty sick.. car started up today finally vacuum is at 20 so not bad. tomorrow i take it for a spin to start the break in journey

thanks. drove it for the first time today. all though i cant really spool up yet. cause im breaking everything in for a little.it feels more then great.. you can feel the port work and smoothness of a rebuild every time you touch the pedal.. i love it.. cant wait to punch it

Nice work so far!!!! (aside from the turbo manifaild)
im liking the hotside routing! Damn... you should have popped a coolant reroute on there before the install... Pretty cheap, and awesome mod actually..

And watch out for that Prosport boost gauge, ive had 3 of them, 2 of which have failed. They start glitching, and Pegging out at crazy levels. Im pretty sure its the sensor box that the vaccum/boost line plugs onto, that keeps failing. I sprayed my new one with liquid electrical tape, to try to keep moisture out (if thats what the problem is anywho)
