Default BOV installation...

can anyone post up pics of their blow off valve install?

i've got a UK BBR turbo and I hope to fit a Bailey DV26 twin piston valve to save my newly refurb'd T25....thinking I can fit it between the intake manifold and intercooler pipe?

BBR turbo, so cool.

You want to put it into the silicone coupler? Yea, that wont work.

I don't think that coupler will work, there doesn't look to be enough space around it for the BOV to fit. Unless you point it down maybe?

Here is mine. Greddy RS welded to the up pipe. If you cut your pipe down here and used that coupler it would work.

yeah i was thinking it will have to be angled downwards. I dont have a pipe to cut on the mani side as that's the intercooler itself joined to the coupling.... same with the alloy fitting on the airbox/turbo side..

yeh, I see what miataspeed1point6 is saying....

if you look at the gap between IC pipe & inlet manifold then there isn't a great deal of space to site the Bov between the two.

You could try angling the IC piping back a bit, that should give you more room, or maybe cut a couple inches off the IC piping to make more room that way?

Either that or find somewhere else you can site the coupler, or even get something welded up.
