My timing mark has left the building

So I just got my MSPNP to work, and I'm looking forward to tinkering with the settings and setting up everything for larger injectors, but...

I just spent the last 20 minutes feeling very dumb staring at my crank pulley looking for my timing mark, which I finally realized was vaporized when my alternator/water pump belt broke!:vash:

Does anyone know where I can get another one of these? I can see one bolt for it, so I'm hoping that there is another out of sight that I can take off removing the entire timing mark piece and allowing me to bolt another one on. This is certainly one of the most bizzare problems I have encountered, and will undoubtedly be a pain in the ass to fix/get to.

Any help would be much appreciated.

are you saying you are missing the lower timing belt cover?

This thread is worthless without.......

No, just the small mark that has the 10* btdc seems to have been broken in two, leaving an unreadable stub where it once was. Is this part of the lower timing belt cover?

And ya, ya, I know I need pics, but it is late and dark.

yes it is.

did you just take that picture?

m.net garage

Nope, he was a good little boy and searched on m.net.

And thanks for clarifying all of that for me. So it looks like I need a new lower timing belt cover.
I went and took a picture just now to satisfy your thirst for images, but I uploaded it large so you can get an idea of what I mean. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...R/PA211068.jpg

Although I think Paul hit the nail on the head.

So it looks like if I get under the car I can just pull off that cover without taking anything else major off. Are there any big problems with doing this? (I've never changed the timing belt, so this is all new to me, and the m.net instructions talk about taking off the cover after you have done all of the other t-belt prep).

Shit, nevermind, it looks like I have to pull the pulleys to get it off, so work there is...
