I'm not the op, but that's the place. He did my ms tuning, and I think I'm going to have him build me a shorty for my 2560 and a 1.8. I'm not going to vband, but a 10mil through bolted flange. Everything there looks like the pics the op presented. I will post full pics when I build, but it won't be until December.

Morgan is proficient at megasquirt tuning. FYI, I brought my netbook that was already set up to communicate with the ms. I'm sure he has a laptop, but I thought bringing mine made things easier. He gave me the conservative tune that I asked for, it's a little fat up top, as per my tune thread in the dyno section.

intake mani is finish mounted, throttle cable is done. throttle body is mounted and all set. injectors and rail are installed. im running new arp studs and nuts on the intake side and new arp nuts on the ex. only thing im iffy about is the seating of the injectors. i think they are taller than the stock ones in some way, because they feel like they are all the way in. but i cant get the rail to sit all the way down on the mounts. its like an 1/8" up. but the bolts snug up. we'll see if it leaks when i put fuel to it.

I dunno, how DID you manage that? I think this was the first thread I started following when I started posting here. I just can't believe its not running yet! It is wise to not rush it though. Rushing has never worked out favorably for me anyway. Maybe some are more lucky than I.
This engine is almost exactly what I want to be able to do one day. One day being when I own not just one Miata that is my daily driver, and when I have a decent place to work on a car for extended periods, and when I can afford all of this **** you are throwing at it! I'm doing well just to be able to replace a part here and a part there. One day I will have a car this awesome though. It may take as long or longer than you, and it may sit in my future garage being pieced together as I can afford it, but having something like this for a fun project car would be awesome indeed. All of the fun is taken out of the process when its a rush to get it back on the road because you don't have anything else decent to drive.
