there are plenty of tie downs. Do you think the wires just floated to where they are positioned? There will be grommets (its still a work in progress) and I choose to not use looms. I dont like the look of them and I dont like working with them. Nor do I like wrapping them with 10 miles of electrical tape. And 4 bolts to take the fender off is not difficult if there was to be a problem.

Oh dear lord this is the worst example of reading comprehension I've ever seen on mt.net. How many times does he have to say he's using grommets? I've seen you people drool over wire tucks left and right, now all of a sudden he's moving the fuse box under there and you're hating it?
Good job RR, if you're up to removing the fender if a fuse blows, more power to you, I'd do it just as a "fuck you" to these guys at this point. |
^ Agreed

I'm just going to wait for finished product and decide if I like it then.
Good luck. Btw for those freaking out about blowing fuses, they really don't blow unless you short something or something weird/out of the ordinary happens (and I'm not talking about the fuse box getting wet from his placement, that's another topic:giggle:). Dunno about you guys, but I really don't fry fuses that often. |
I hereby dub this thread
m.net vs. miataturbo.net since most of the MT users are acting like fag pussbags reagarding this |

Well atleast you've got the fender mounting bolts down to 4 instead of 12. :giggle:

As an alternative to loom and tape, you could consider something like danscreations on CR.net used. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it's called.

I'm sure it will be better appreciated once it's all done. Good luck.

Sadly, VC companies pour millions into start ups like this based off a couple fancy (or not so fancy) renderings and a suggestion of an idea. I know, I've done lots of these for the medical world :jerkit: -Zach |
This one's actually been used though. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...ystem_photo_29
