NA vs NC rollbar differences
How different are the na vs nc rollbar mounting points?
I have the opportunity to pick up an NC hard dog rollbar single hoop with only the front mounting points (aka its a single hoop bar with 2 double diagonals with no rearward bracing) for much, much cheaper than getting an na specific one shipped to canada. Would it work with some modifications? I would obviously get a local shop the add the rearward bracing and mounting points but im just wondering the differences.. If i can save almost 600$ going this route, i will. |
Sounds like a waste of time and effort. You can buy NA/NB rollbars used all day long for less than $400. I got mine for $250 on craigslist.

Key word here guy: Canada. Shit like that doesn't come up for sale. If it did it would be minimum 600 and i havent seen one in about a year. A new one shipped here from bethania will be 700+ Even from the states, shipping would be $300 on a used one. So, no, not a waste of time and effort if i can save 5 or 600$. |
The NC doesn't share a single thing with older miatas.
I really, really doubt there is a chance. |

Seriously though, didn't see the "key word" Canada in your first post at all, you should put your location in your profile. |
I'm not your pal, friend.
 If you live anywhere within 100k of a border, there are companies on the US side that will receive and hold your stuff for like, 12 bucks. Then tour down and bring it across yourself. Saves a LOT of money. |
I'm not your friend, buddy.

Miata M2 Hard Core Hardtop Bar In DFW check out Track Dog too. I'm a little squeamish about buying used safety equipment. |

Where in the great white north do you live? There were plenty of places that would fab a roll bar for around $300 or so a few years ago around the GTA.
