NA: What is the piece that connects the two lower radiator hoses called?
I foolishly threw mine away last winter and am finding myself in need again.

Thanks; found that literally right when you posted it :).

I replaced my 2 piece setup with the 1 hose from Moss Motors. I saw no point in having 2 hoses and 4 clamps. If I was you I'd just buy the new hose rather than buy that metal connector. :2cents:

The pipe is good if you want to clear an a/c compressor... or smoke a bowl.

Unfortunately I learned of the 1 piece hose on the 99+ about 2 seconds after ordering my new silicone hoses :crx:. I would just get the one piece but I had just spent 82 bucks on the silicone ones.

No AC/PS here, engine bay is as open as can be. Everything without those two is so much better.
|
Must be easy for you to go w/o ac in MN. Ive tried it for two summers here, and im putting the ac back in. Good thing I kept that water pipe.
|
Not necessarily - it hits 85, 90 degrees on a fairly regular basis here. Summer is hotter than hell, winter is enough to freeze your testicles.
I don't DD the Miata though, DD is an a6 WITH air con and I couldn't go without it in that beast. |
