NA6 Crossover with NA8 Airbox
I don't have access to my car for the next couple days but on Thursday I am hoping to get my MS3-Basic from Rev installed.
I want to delete the AFM off of my 1.6 but still retain the stock airbox. As far as I know, I have these 2 options: 1. Buy an adapter for the rectangular hole that is left behind the AFM and run a piece of pipe to the crossover tube. 2. Bolt in the spare 1.8 airbox I have and run a piece of pipe to the cross-over tube. I would prefer #2 but don't have access to my car to measure the diameter of the crossover tube and airbox inlet. Has anyone tried doing it this way before? Could you also share the dimensions? Thanks! |
What did you end up doing? I also like the idea of the NA8 air box for a standalone, but haven’t seen any pictures of this

I'm having a delete adapter 3d printed. Should be ABS.
