NB2 Fuel return conversion I think for 400+
So after hours of searching I have so many ideas and I can't find enough follow up posts to prove these designs are successful or not. I could see 400whp+ and like to see it on pump gas but who knows in the future if E85 is in the cards and I dont want to revisit this fuel system. I have a DW300 and ID1000 injectors, its all the interconnecting parts that has me thrown. I read that the stock rail will support whatever I throw at it, I watched Soviet put down 450 at a local dyno day. Can't find a pic...was that with a stock rail converted to return or just dead headed?
The basic plan (I have all the lines already) is to discard the in tank regulator and adapt fuel hat fitting to AN6 and run to Russell fuel filter than to front. From there is the question. Do I: 1) feed a aeromotive 1:1 regulator with that line and take a parallel port off it to rail and return to tank? 2) feed rail and remove the damper on stock fuel install adapter to AN6 go to aeromotive regulator and than back to tank? 3) buy aftermarket fuel rail and feed one side out other to regulator and back to tank. 4) your ideas here..... PS: Pics would be great! PSS: dont think it makes a difference but its a 2004 MSM https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...e1b056c18b.jpg |
Easy button: go to spendingtons thread where he literally lays all of this out with details and pics and do everything using your current pump and injectors
the og id1k's and dw300 should be enough for 400 on e |

Acama's fuel mods: - DW300 or Walbro 450-E85 in the tank, - 10awg milspec wired to bypass the OEM connector with bulkhead isolators, - dedicated 30A relay wired straight to the battery. - Gates $20/ft submersible E85 hose inside the tank, - Earl's Vaporguard everywhere else. - Fuelab 818 filter replaces the stock unit. - Fuelab 535 regulator at the back of the car, - OEM lines forward of the rear bulkhead, - OEM fuel rail, ID1000s.
