NB2 Security Module Pinout

I'm in the process of removing of what appeared to be a jank ass dealer installed security system but upon further inspection is factory? There were some wire splices, relays, self tappers, and butt connectors that looked pretty questionable but this popped up in a Google search and it looks like a factory option.

Ebay listing

There was also some weird pigtail extention between the ignition and main harness that had a relay in between that I removed.

Anyways I was wondering if anyone had a pinout available before I start ripping out anything I don't need or if I can even remove any of this stuff. I don't really care about the alarm system as long as the power locks and immobilizer works.

See this: Mazda NB2 Immobiliser System

That Black Box of yours is a dodgy aftermarket module.

That's not the immobilizer module, which is a Lucas/TRW device. This looks like a Mazda-branded car alarm. These were sold as accessories, and could be installed by the aftermarket industry or by dealerships.

Interesting, I'm going to try and rip out as much as I can and hope my car starts lol. Just got my block and head back from the machine shop so it'll be a while before I find out.

This.

The immobiliser modules that I have seen on ADM NBs is located up under that troublesome centre dash bolt. I have sold off about three sets of ignition lock/immobiliser/ecu, as I recall all three are linked and needed to get the car started. USDM may be different though, but I will bet my shirt that that is nothing to do with immobilising, and all to do with dealer installed anti-theft.

If anyone else comes upon this alarm system just yank everything out. Car starts and drives just fine without it.

Pos-cat added for closing out this thread properly with your findings!
(I HATE it when OPs find a solution to their query but DON'T share it).
