NC Miata Roll Call

Who here owns an NC Miata? Whether it is stock or modified. Just curious to see how many are on this site.

Stein 10-31-2011 05:18 PM

Counting you? (I assume you have one because you are asking.) I think there are two or three that actually post. Seriously.

AredMiata 10-31-2011 05:38 PM

I don't actually have one right now, I'm acquiring a second job and instead of getting a 240, I am going to temporarily retire my 90 miata and purchase an NC and have payments. I just wanted to see what people have done to theirs.

I know of at least two turbo NCs running around Atlanta. One has a BEGi kit and the other is some custom T3 setup with the turbo mounted about in front of the engine.

The one near me is this one:

It has a BEGI kit with a 2860 and it's an envy of a lot of Miata's around.

I bought a new NC this year as a daily driver. Frees up the old summer/daily driver '95 for projects. :)

Good friend of mine has one for a DD, and also runs one as a race car with 2.5L Duratec swap. The NCs are pretty effective as race cars.

miata2fast 11-01-2011 02:47 PM

I do not have one, but I do have the serious bug for one. I am even considering an NC to NA swap someday.

I have an '09 that I use for occasional track days. Very mild mods for now.

bluemax 11-02-2011 04:44 PM

I have a 07 that I daily drive.

oojimmyc 11-09-2011 06:19 PM

I have an '08 PRHT and love it. It's a daily driver. Also 31 MPG...that's 5 more mpg than my '97:bowrofl:

I know I'm a Noob and late to post here but I have a 2010 NC PHRT Touring with Sport Suspension and Torsen Limited Slip Diff. (yes I'm making payments). So far it's all stock. Future plans are and Eibach or Racing Beat suspension, lighter, wider wheels, bigger rubber, a cat back exhaust and later possibly a BEGI Turbo kit. I plan to AutoX and possibly track events. It must remain reliable and maintain most of the stock MPG.
I'm new to Miata ownership so any advice towards meeting my goals woud be greatly appreciated.

Well, the combined post total of everyone who has one is barely over 250, not including the banned guy. I'd suggest bolting ---- on and finding out what works. It's expensive, but easier than trying to get information out of a bunch of guys without any.

Topspeed674 03-06-2012 06:26 AM

Sharp looking and souning NC! Is there anymore information on this car anywhere?

miata2fast 03-06-2012 06:25 PM

I test drove a base model NC last Sunday.

It seemed a little soft in the suspension, but I could see the potential. It also felt faster than the first NC I drove, I suspect because of weight differences.

olderguy 03-06-2012 07:38 PM

I have a 2010 that I am keeping stock, but here is a site that discusses modifications:
