Guy never posted back up?
only problem I have w/ Spam's post is about the 15" size...16" have their use if they are light enough. Less sidewall flex and can still fit a decent sized tire without being to large. |
You actually read what he says. I just see it and say fuck that. I'm too lazy.

You're right, for absolute performance, there is an argument for 16's. But I'm gonna say to get any benefit, you're going to need to spend almost double the $$. You can get 215 series Heliums/T1-R's AND Ground Control Coilovers AND RB sways for the price of just their cheapest 16" tire/wheel package. For a street car, and for the money, 15's are the ticket... especially when you're talking about giving a newb advice on what to buy. |
asks for advice and you all answer by asking how old he is. lol. good one guys! great thread!!
if you ever post back up, spend some time looking through company catalogs, and spend even more time checking out lots of diy setups. decide how much power you want and what you want to do with the car. once you decide those im sure we can help you out. |

I fucking hate that!!! Granted, it's only the next day, but if he doesn't show up today, I'm out of this thread. Hey Morgan, you still out there?
Well, I've been talked to before for spouting off about suspension/tire shit that I'm clearly not very knowledgable about... but for the money, this is arguable the best tire/wheel deal around: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda...21-1045fs.html He's got 215 series as well for $72 more per set if you need the extra contact patch. For the new argument, your completely right. 15s are the ticket. |
