new clutch brought new noise
I just installed a new F1 stage 3 (PP, 6 puck sintered disk, TO and pilot).
I have about 5 miles on it so far and a new noise is audible. When at idle, there's a faint chirping noise, very light and soft, almost cricket-like. If I put the slightest amount of force on the clutch pedal, it goes away. Any ideas? |
put grease on the end of your slave rod....where it meets the fork. see if that helps.

Adjust the clutch pedal to take up that slack, and you won't have to put your foot on it.
Oh, and +1 for the above. |
Technically no. That'd indirectly keep the crank pushed against thrust bearing. If it's not the slave rod on the fork, then try getting some grease on TO via the fork hole after pulling the boot back. That worked for me. For a while.
