$225 is a damn good price for a functional part.

Mounting? - "We used a bolt at the upper rear of the air dam on each side, the front 'hooks' over the grille opening."

Brake Cooling? - "We have included the cooling duct opening but no attachment."

Is there an underbody portion? - "Yes it is completely closed on the bottom."

Got this from Mike @ ISC Racing

neogenesis2004 09-11-2007 03:23 PM

looks pretty tight

airbrush1 09-11-2007 04:54 PM

I'd like to see one painted.... because right now I vote that it's horribly ugly but most likely functional

Loki047 09-11-2007 05:00 PM

im gonna say not functional depending on what its mounted to.

neogenesis2004 09-11-2007 05:38 PM

judging by the stuff they sell id bet its very much functional

kotomile 09-11-2007 05:42 PM

As long as it prevents more air from going under the car, then it's functional. I'd probably mount it sturdier if it were mine.

cueball1 09-11-2007 05:50 PM

Anything that ugly needs to be functional unless it also fits Civics.

miatamania 09-11-2007 07:23 PM

lmao ^

I bet it would look a ton better painted.

boostinsteve 09-11-2007 09:13 PM

I agree on the paint.

MiaTurbo 09-11-2007 10:02 PM

lol.. paint just adds weight.

If i didn't have a RB nose, i'd get it.

iWeasel410 09-12-2007 12:51 AM

holy snow plow

cueball1 09-12-2007 03:19 PM

It'll look even fuglier after a couple speed bumps.

m2cupcar 09-12-2007 08:57 PM

That thing pulled a full 1.5 second off a 2:30 lap time. It was designed around the "limits" of the SCCA ITA rules, so it's looks are come from function and rules first. The one I ran was made from the notorious BSR sheet plastic and an aluminum carpet threshold. Stuck to the front using industrial velcro. Never deformed, never came off and held at 120mph over and over.

they have some great parts, glad you put up the link.

zoom2zoom 09-13-2007 02:02 AM

it kind of resembles a spec 7 front, I like it, but needs better mounting and paint.

Pitlab77 09-13-2007 02:18 AM

i hope you dont have dips or bumps or steep drive ways or youll be saying bye bye

kotomile 09-13-2007 02:34 AM

It was never meant to go up a driveway, because it's meant for a race car.

m2cupcar 09-13-2007 09:19 AM

:werd: that doesn't seem to be getting thru
I may get to try this thing out in November. :D

cueball1 09-13-2007 12:34 PM

+1 to kotomile. It's way to low for the street. Fugly is just dandy at the track for a functional part.
