New Hood - -
So after much ******* around, with autokonexion -bunch of douches- and UPS - even bigger bunch of douches and *****'s- (and yes, douche IS my fav word this week) I finally got this thing fixed/painted and on.
The vents sit right on top of the turbo, which is great. You can see the heat pouring out of it at stops, like a mirage or some wierd ****.
Seriously you could probably make toast if you hold the bread over it.
I was thinking about welding a tray to the top of the heat shield, by the time I got to work i could have like eggs and bacon.
Got to look into more heat shielding or something tho because that hood gets really fudging hot.

Is that the CF version painted? I got the opportunity to actually see that hood in person this past weekend and the owner had told me its a bit weak close to the latches the hood gets bolted to.
Hows the fitment and durability?

The fitment is extremely good for a fglass aftermarket part, as for durability, well we will see i guess. You can get it in either fiberglass, or a carbon overlay.
Vash- where are your pics of the carbonfiber hood?

Hey man, hood and lights look good! I'm like your polar opposite with my lights and hood being CF/not painted.
And whats the talk about time to install the hood? 1 friend + 5 minutes = installed. Paint is another issue in its own, but installing it is pretty simple.
I hope these hoods don't become too popular. I always loved having the FM hood cause I knew nobody else had it. Since this new hood, no water on my valve cover, not a drop.
