Default CA smog question

ok i have my greddy set at 6lbs boost timing set at 10* btdc and i have the msd installed and 1.8 injectors installed. should i temporarily remove the msd and set timing back at 6 for the smog test? should i swap back in my 1.6 injectors? need to know today so i can do it i smog tommorrow.

i would swap injectors, set timing at 10*, and unhook the wastegate arm. oh ya, taking it out for a 15 minute or so spirited drive can help too becauese it heats everything up nicely.

but how will the msd react? it should be fine because it only retards timing baseed on boost correct

failed ok well i passed the visual the tech didnt even ask a question about the turbo system. i failed the sniffer my no bnumbers were to high. from what i have read that means running too lean. so im gunna reset my timing to 8* and run it hard for a while to get the cat warm then go back for my free retest.

Can you update this did it pas the second time? I am in the same situation . It seems to me that most turbo/ nonturbo cars in Cali fail for Nox thanks
