Sometimes I really struggle with what to do in these situations.

I mean, as members of a civilized society, we're not supposed to do things like tip over the retarded kid in the wheelchair. It's funny, yes. But there's an understanding that it's not his fault that he's a retard (unless he got that way from huffing paint or diving into shallow pools) and that the best thing to do is just mop up the trail of drool behind him and move on with our lives.

For those who are dying to know, Shainz' eleventh post was indeed a for-sale. Specifically, he wants $350 for the disassembled remains of his 1.6 engine. "I have all the internal and external parts labeled and organized in ziploc bags, which will be included with the motor."

Yeah....

Ok, so in the spirit of civility, and against my better judgment, I'm not going to ban him. I just cannot believe that anyone could actually be this ******* stupid without suffering from some kind of legitimate developmental disability.

On the other hand, I'm starting to think that this is some kind of cursed thread. I assume that danscreations must spend his spare time digging up indian burial grounds, urinating on the corpses, and then re-burying them upside-down.

Here's another.
https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26617

ahproh makes 5 posts in one thread, and they're all legit, then procedes to make 4 more completely useless ones plus a questionable one in order to get to the magic number 10, and follows up with a a car for sale ad as #11.

I like your engine bay! Very nice! I'll have to make a good plan for how I want mine to turn out so that it can be as nice as yours.

EDIT: After reading the moderator's posts and realizing that this thread is 4 pages long.... you're pushing your lucky saying that the mod is off topic. I guess it suports the theory of a developmental disability...

Edit: damnit, I was trying to be completely useless, but I can't help it, I have a burning desire to ask this question: Can you please detail the Photoshop work you do to make the pseudo hdr images? I'm guessing that the old version I have is not up to snuff and I won't be able to do it, but just a rough run-through would be awesome!

Thanks!

Cost me $56 to make them; can make a cheap version for $25 or so with non stainless gas springs. Here's a link to a thread I maid from start to finish....last posts are most likely what you'll want to read. If you can't get the stainless gas springs local I can get them for you and ship them to you. http://www.clubroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21758

Yes, I'm talking to you. If you could, could you tell us what you do to process your photos to make them look so rich?

That car is too clean.

Am I the only one in this thread that is sad that even though I want to do visual mods, I find it easier to justify spending the time on performance mods?

I'm going to interrupt briefly one last time as I received a rather angry PM from Shainz who, as you'll recall, was left un-banned in spite of our typical practices & procedures. Apparently he doesn't understand that the reason he had to be ridiculed in public was to hopefully serve as an example to others. I'm starting to question the logic of this, as the banning of mmmjesse failed to serve as a warning to Shainz...

Shainz wishes everyone to know that certain of the dismantled ruins of his old 1.6 engine have already had machine work done to them. The block has been tanked, honed & decked, the head has been tanked and decked, and the crank has been polished.

So, if anyone is looking to purchase the mortal remains of a 1.6 engine (along with new main & rod bearings and piston rings) you know where to get 'em.

We now return to our regularly scheduled automotive pornography, already in progress.

Nice tutorial. I'll try messing with levels and curves more. Typically I've always just done brightness/contrast etc with burn and dodge. Have you tried burn layers and the like? I should probably feather erase more. Thanks for the tips.. I'm a photoshop amateur.
