AWR fan shroud and new hot side intercooler piping
Well I finally got my AWR fans installed, and had the shop do me some new drivers side intercooler piping in 2-1/4" aluminum rather than 2-1/2" mild steel as it was previously.
I also got the DEI turbo heat wrap installed, and the downpipe wrapped and painted with flameproof black.
Boost response is better with the 2-1/4 tapering into 2-1/2" piping.
The AWR fans make the car sound like a hovercraft..... and they pull so many amps that they damn near stall the car when they come on! They defenitely move a lot of air!
I also ordered a new universal power steering reservoir to replace the screwy looking piece of crap black rusty one that came stock and interferes with my air filter.
Now I just need to get the new AVC-R installed when it comes in hopefully later this week.
I also need to get a catch can setup installed between the valvecover breather and my intake/filter.... but since I'm running filter on turbo, I think that will be a challenge. Anyone have any ideas where I could find some sort of bung to thread into the end of my AEM dryflow?
Perhaps I may also get the auminum intercooler piping powdercoated also....
Man I have a LOT OF CRAP TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a straight blade spal 16" fan that pulls about 22amps on startup and does the same thing. Scares people at the traffic light when it comes on it's so loud. I hate the thing, but it's the only thing that fits between my rad and sway bar...and it keeps things cool. The curved blade fans are much quieter but thicker.
