Oil Temps
With the install of the SC, I installed a FC RX7 oil cooler. It's a big bitch.
I was expecting to see oil temps within 10-20deg of my coolant temps and that is not the case. I am seeing between 220-230 on the street and 240 into boost with coolant temps steady at 190. This is at 40-60 ambient temps. I haven't taken it to the track yet, so I don't know what temps out there will be.
I am running Redline 10w30 which will have no problem running into the 300s, so I am not overly worried.
I have my oil temp sensor in the sandwich plate next to the oil filter. The cooler is mounted in front of the radiator somewhat high. It still sees direct airflow, but only the bottom 1/3 of the cooler.
The main issue is that I never monitored oil temps before the SC, so I don't have anything to compare them to.
Do you think I am running a little hot?
What temps are you running on the street? Where do you have your oil temp sensor?

don't trust the stock gauge for water temp, its not linear. According to MegaTune, when the stock needs is at 11 o'clock, I see anywhere from 170-220*f.
I think your oil temps would be ok on the track. What kinda air are you getting to the oil cooler? If you don't have air moving over it, don't expect temp drop.
