No oil feed or return ports on 1.6 block?
 

So this weekend I was helping my friend install my old turbo setup on his car, its a 92 1.6 car. Everything was going great until, I went to hook up the oil lines, pressure and return and found that the block didn't have either port in it like mine did. I looked around online and found that the 1.8 blocks don't have these ports but has anyone else had this problem before on a 1.6? The bosses were there cast into the block but no plug. We just ended up tapping the oil pan and T-ing off the oil pressure sender, so we got it done. I just figured it would be good to bring up in case anyone else has this problem.

Sounds like this was a replacement engine someone got from Mazda as a crate engine. There was a thread here about it as well as a number of them on m.net.

I bought an engine out of a 91 that doesn't have the oil and water ports either. But what makes this engine weird is that the castings aren't even there. There is no VIN plate on the motor either. I have confirmed that it is a long nose crank by the crank bolt shoulder measurement. I assume that this was also a crate motor.

Where did you get the hardware to tee off the oil pressure sender?

Check for presence (or lack there of) of a VIN plate on the engine's oil pan. I'm betting it's not there.

Found out the engine is one of the low mile engines from japan, so fyi if you are going to turbo one of those you will need to tap the pan and get your supply from the oil pressure sender.
