No start, good battery

Im a bit stumped here...

So last night i installed 3 glowshift gauges. Wiring all of their power-related wires into respective, thicker wire sources. Tapping the room fuse for constant 12v and the thick blue IGN wire under the steering wheel for switched 12v

This morning i go to move the car a few feet and the starter gives one turn and quits. I removed the tap and the car started. Moved it and went on my way.
Come back a few hours later and nothing. My wbo2 will turn on and the fuel pump primes but turning the key results in seemingly nothing. Cut the wire spliced into the IGN and charged the battery for an hour, still nothing. Wired the battery cables to another battery, still the same story. I checked through fuses and theyre all good.

What do? My MS3X connects to my laptop like usual so it doesnt seem to be fried.

that's not a good place to tap. the blue-red side of the room fuse is a much better spot for lights -- since that's all that's behind that fuse. otherwise you risk killing power to your coils via the engine fuse.

why did you tap two different 12v sources for power? sounds like you're wiring both power and ground of the gauges to 12v sources...

I forgot to proofread, original post edited. IGN wire spliced for switched 12v and room fuse tapped for constant 12v. All ground wires routed to the back of the head, per installation instructions of the gauges

whoops and I meant the blk-blue wire on the cigar fuse for switched, but again, to protect the ENGINE fuse, which only powers the coil (and a few other things behind the METER fuse). double check your engine fuse.

everything else still getting powered comes from main relay, which comes from the INJ fuse.

All of the fuses in the drivers footwell are good as are all of the fuses by the main relay. Im also getting the click from the relays on key turn.

The starter hasnt shown signs of malfunction before, and the solenoid is getting 12v.

Edit: jumping the starter solenoid will start the engine.

could the ign switch itself just be messed up or loose connection behind it?

might want to check if you have voltage on the ST_SIG fuse when you turn key to crank.

Alright. Either I'm the idiot of the day or I was dropped on my head as an adult...my clutch override wire (ghetto wire bc FM didnt send me the clip with my clutch kit) wasnt making a solid connection.

Always check the simple stuff, everybody...
