its all a gimmick btw, the nology wires. They really aren't that great of a wire compared to others.

Why even waist your time. For a few dollars more just get the NGK Blues.

JDMAflac 12-01-2006 01:08 AM

NGK's all the way

Braineack 12-01-2006 01:40 AM

wouldn't the grounding wires introduce interference into the signal?

slydin miata 619 12-01-2006 02:18 AM

well you need a positive and a ground to have a spark right? i was thinking this can be beneficial since theres a better ground than other ignition wires

y8s 12-01-2006 11:12 AM

yah, but the ground is your motor.

slydin miata 619 12-01-2006 06:11 PM

yes it is..but the only ground i see is from the coil pack right? i'm wondering if it's beneficial since i have a grounding kit going to the valve cover..so theres more grounding throughout my motor

kotomile 12-01-2006 10:32 PM

The electrode in the middle of the plug is the positive. The threads of the plug are the ground. No other ground necessary.

hatch4raceb16 12-01-2006 10:45 PM

Im not a fan of anything knock offish.

slydin miata 619 12-01-2006 10:57 PM

the outer threads are ground right? ..that ground wire is connected to the threads then you ground it to the chassis for better grounding..hmm

Braineack 12-01-2006 11:16 PM

does the valve cover itself act as a good ground? the chrome plastic bolts sure dont. i mean i dunno, probably just benefit more from a typical 8mm wire.

slydin miata 619 12-02-2006 12:07 AM

those are plastic bolts?hmm but yeah i'm just talking in general.i'll probably hook them up to something else. i'm just wondering if they are any good

slydin miata 619 12-02-2006 01:13 AM

i guess i'm not getting them..thanks to everybody and the research i did..

Fritch 12-02-2006 01:46 AM
