Ohhh mannnnnnn, messed up some math I think....
So the factory gasket needed to be replaced aswell as the head being cut/
Cylinder head was cut .030" To compensate for that I ordered a .075 gasket from Cometic,(stock gasket measured around .02x".... did a compression test today, 125 across the board, My questions is would .045" drop the compression that much?(this gasket was thicckkkkkkkk) Turboing it anyhow, but just wanted to make sure ;) |
well that was stupid

You didn't remove a cylindrical area from the combustion chamber, now did you? Decking the block would have netted you the correct chamber volume with a thick gasket, but the chamber isn't cylinder shaped.
|
You're messing with the quench area. Running a thicker or double head gasket is usually a hack to gain lower compression.
