x1 Mocal Sandwich Plate- 20mm Thread x4 Mocal 1/2" BSP x -10 fitting x4ft -10 Aeroquip Stainless Steel Braided Hose x2 -10 Aeroquip 90 Degree Reusable Elbow Fitting x2 -10 Aeroquip Straight Reusable Swivel Fitting not sure which cooler to get http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/category/Oil_Coolers |
Go as big as you can if you're racing, go with one of the smallers if you're streeting it. Although in Texas bigger might be fine on the streets. I'd figure out where and how you're going to mount it before you buy the two oil cooler fittings and the oil cooler itself. I'm using 90's on both ends.

You should come over and look at my 3-different oil cooler set-ups.
|
Get a stacked fin type with bypass feature. Basically they stack a bunch of identical sections except the first is a bit less restrictive so cold oil can flow through with less work until it all warms up and starts venturing deeper and deeper into the cooler.
Or just get a thermostat. |
i ordered all the above with
Earl's 16 Row Oil Cooler -10 AN http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg |
ooo that one is nice!
|
so all said and done it's costing me $303 with a better cooler and better flowing lines the FM kit.
|
so where are you going to mount that oil cooler?

Hi Jeff, thanks for posting your parts list. I'm picking up an earl's cooler from amazon too.
Where did you end up mounting your cooler? We both have an NB so I am very interested in your solution. |
