Default Front Bumper Help and Thoughts

I recently finished painting my 95 and got all the trim back together. I wanted to give the front end a little different look so I bought this bumper. I got it foor only 160 bucks, I was thinking what a deal. So I get the bumper, and it has a few dings and scuffs and some lite shaping to make fit the car, but not a huge deal. So I get the bumper painted up, not even thinking to make sure the front lights fit, just thinking they would fit. So of course after I get everything ready to slap together and the lights don't fit. I've tried adding some fiberglass and reshaping so the lights will fit a few times, I just can't get the lights to look right, so I'm giving up.

My question for you guys, is what experience do you guys have with some of the other aftermarket bumpers out there. I know there's many different price ranges, and I'm fine with spending some money, I'm just looking for something that's pretty much good to go out of the box with out much work.

My second question are there any bumpers off a NB, or NC that someone was able to make work and look good on a NA, without much work.

Or should I just go back with the factory NA bumper and dress it up a bit with the bottom lip and such? Please help give me your ideas! Thanks

Crusher/EP style bumper or stock is pretty much the go to round these parts.

The only other bumper I'd consider is the racing beat one. Those extra opening would make for good brake ducting. But id never spend the money on one plus paint matching.

Edit: Molded in TSI is a nice touch.

It looks bad and fits poorly even in what I assume to be the promotional photo.

i agree, racing beat or stock. Theres many ways to make the stock look better if thats your thing. Things you can put on, stuff you can cut out. its all been done.

I'm a big fan of the stock bumper with a lip. I have the R style which "fills" out the car much nicer, but if you want something more aggressive go with the gv style. No need to pay $160, go for the ebay ones for $50-$80. Have to do slight molding with a heat gun, but well worth it.
