oil pan gasket
hey guys new to the miata world
just picked up a 91 miata and it has an oil leak that look like its comming from the oil pan gasket how much trouble is it to do one of those and what all is needed to do a timing belt service thank you |
Its rare for these to leak, but possible. Could it be the dipstick tube grommet that's leaking? What about a front or rear main seal?
You pretty much have to pull the motor to replace that gasket. |
I'm not sure on the na's but the nb's just use silicone as a sealer.
It's possible to pull in the car but it's not easy. |
thats what ive been seeing alot is the front and rear seals how hard are those to change
sorry i come from the vw world and everything on those cars it a pita |

You can drop the front subframe to replace it, if you don't want to do it I had a garage do it for 500 when I first got the car.

After the bullshit threads you've created on here in the last 3-days I highly recommend you refrain from providing any technical information because you're obviously vacuous douche.
