Default Full Engine Maintance (Parts?!?!)

I have a 90 w/greddy turbo; she's getting tired with 171k. Front, Rear seals leaking pretty bad and a shot waterpump. I bought a JDM motor a few months back and before pulling the trigger on putting it in I would like the assurance of it being maintainace free for awhile. NO MORE LEAKING PARTS! So I put a small list together of normal rebuild/maintainace parts but not sure if I'm over looking or missing something. If you all would post anything I'm missing or you suggest for replacement.

Engine Maintainace
- Full Engine Gasket Set
- Waterpump
- Timing Belt
- Keyway & Crank Gear (if worn)
- Spark Plugs
- o2 Sensor
- Alternator (rebuild; on it's way out)
- New Rubber Plug (on rear of motor by coolant temp sensor; used on fwd apps)
- CAS Seal

Swapped Parts
- Thermostat w/Housing (shipping damage)
- Throttle Body (shipping damage)
- Coolant Temp Sensor (replaced few months ago)
- Magnacore 8mm Plug Wires (7mo old)
- Heater Core Hoses (replaced 3 months ago)
- Motor Mounts (replaced year 1/2 ago)

Additional (Turbo)
- Oil Return Fitting on Pan (welded)

Optionals
- Idler
- Tensioner
- Oil Pump

CAS Seal is a good one...replaced it few months ago on the motor thats in there now. Anyone happen to remember the size?

Also, anyone suggest oil pump? They're expensive so rather not unless totally nessary.

Any differance in the quality of a timing belt? I know some companies sell upgraded one (guess they're stronger); greddy, etc. (not sure who makes one for the miata).

Reason I ask is called around to local autoparts stores for pricing and got the following
NAPA: $54.77
Advanced Discount Auto Parts: $29.88
Autozone: $24.99

Have no idea if all these are the same type/quality. Anyone have any thoughts?

Have one last really dumb question.....are the front and rear main seals included in the engine gasket set? If not where would you suggest getting them?

Dude, get all the OEM parts from Rosenthal if you must have Genuine Mazda. They are way cheaper than a dealership. www.finishlineperformance.com

Motor Mounts, highly recommend the Racing Mazda ones... like 70% stiffer than stock. Enhances shifting and clutch action.

If you're pulling the tranny to replac the rear main seal, then there are a couple Tranny seals to replace as well. Check the "clutch replacement" section in the Garage at M.net for the full list of things they recommend when you've got the tranny off.

If you are taking the tranny off, no sense in putting an old clutch back in.
If you need a new clutch and don't want to spring for aftermarket... you can usually score a free 1.8 flywheel from somebody at m.net who just wants it out of their garage... and get the 1.8 OEM Value Kit from Rosenthal for $100... gives you some extra holding power for cheap. Should hold power from a stock Greddy kit just fine.
