parking light problem :crx:

hi im new to the forums but today i encounterd a minor problem and i was wondering if anyone has come across this before
my headlight motion dash light came on a few days ago and stayed on when the car was off or on.
then today i turned my car off, turned the lights off and the parking lights stayed on no matter where the headlight switch was turned.
ive checked all the conections and searched google and i think im the first to have this problem. also the headlights go up and down same as before but the dash light is always on key in or out.
im running megasquirt pnp 9093 if that could have anything to do with it but i doubt it.
any help/advice on this would be great
edit
car is a miata not a crx i tried adding a frustrating smilly but it didnt work out

the lights go off after decabling the battery and reattaching the cabels but after turning the car off they randomly stay on, any ideas on where i could start checking for a ground or something else

Parking lights kinda throw me off but as far as the indicator light for the flip-ups my first thing to check would be the switch in the center console. I'm sure someone will chime in soon with links to wiring diagrams.

Also, post up your car's specs in your signature and put your location in your profile so it shows up underneath your name, that way if someone is close by they may be willing to come give you a hand. Good Luck.

EDIT: You haven't done any kind of wiring recently like installing a radio or anything like that have you (other than the Megasquirt)
