Pics of engine bay with no ac please

I'm debating whether I should remove my ac when the new engine goes in. It is currently in working order, but could use a fresh charge. How many of you with above avg. HP numbers are still running AC? How many think that running AC with a high HP engine makes you a fag?

Could you please post some pics of your AC-less engine bay?

I'd leave the ac in unless it's an all out toy/track car. High HP and AC definitely doesn't make you a fag... power steering, well that's a different story... :giggle:

What would you know California?

In Alabama, I would say keep the a/c. I couldn't not begin to imagine driving in the summer with no a/c, top up or down. Hot ass sun blasting down on you with a 90+ degree breeze blowing on you.

I agree, I'd love it if my engine bay looked that clean.

If I use the AC it would be with the top down. I know that probably sounds stupid, but I just won't have the top up if the sun is shining.

I had the same idea when I bought my first Miata. Then the salesman asked, "Sir, what if it's 95 degrees outside .... and pouring?"

I opted for AC. :)

I have both AC and PS atm i hardly use the AC but i like that it is there when shit is real humid keeps the windows from getting fogged as bad at night. Other than that i deleted the softtop and run just the hard top to make up for it. That and turning up the boost makes a big diff. But im not a convertable kind of guy im a fast lightweight car kind of guy so go figure.

I yanked the AC from my car last year. Its fine because if its hot enough for an AC, I don't want to drive the turbo car. Of course I have AC in my daily.

A couple times this summer I had to stop my joy rides because it was so damn hot between the car, sun, and the god damn humidity up here in the NE!
