First off, let me say Thanks! to m2cupcar! I probably would not have found a better resource without your help, and I definitely spent a LOT less money to control my Link EMS than the alternative! I figure it needs a little promotion, if it hasn't gotten it already.

Little background: When I bought my car, it did not come with the handy little keypad that FM provides, and I was pretty intent on not spending $270 to get a new one, so I posted up a WTB everywhere, and was directed by m2cupcar to: http://4rows.com/plinkhome.htm.
And so it began. I immediately modified my SerialLink box, then I went onto eBay and bought a Palm M500 for about $40/shipped and a Belkin HotSync cable for about $10/shipped. A little time and effort spent, but much better that than FM's price for their little box.

Let me say, this is an awesome tool and program! There is so much information displayed to you at once. I definitely have much to learn with it, but just messing with the basics so far was great. And I think it will have somewhat of a "wow" value when people are told that you are datalogging and adjusting settings using your Palm. :)
