Possible Group Buy on a Dual Feed Rail for 1.8's

1 Attachment(s)
As title says, I may have the opportunity to set us up on a GB through a respected enthusist on some dual feed rails for the 1.8's. Target price is around $80!!!
Material-Aluminum, looks decent, nothing too flashy, just what you would expect out of a $80 rail that fits and does the job.
I'll keep working on the details and keep you all posted, but I need to see some interest gang, lets see a show of hands of who would be interested in this.
The rail fits 94-97 1.8's, I am not sure about the 99-00 and up fittment, should be close, no?
Attachment 212903

I don't think it includes any fuel hose or fitting, you may need to source those yourself.
Let's make it happen.
Dan

ps-any questions, don't PM me, post here, unless you are offering buttsex

I'm in for a 99 compatible rail.

Zabac 05-28-2008 11:33 AM

Is there anyone out there than can compare a 94-97 rail to a 99up rail?
Everyone will thank you and maybe someone will even hook you up with their sister or girlfriend or something.

TonyV 05-28-2008 11:39 AM

Interested...94-97(and subscribed)

I can take pics of mine this weekend.

There are 3 different styles of rails
94-97
99-00
01-05
you could probably make 99-05 one style by carefully locating the pulse dampener flange, but you'd need access to both cylinder heads to check clearances.

to do it right, you'd need a cyl head from each generation. mine's still offered up to Craig @ TT for this.

will the pulse dampener thingy matter in a return-added set-up?

Ben 05-28-2008 12:40 PM

you remove the dampener and replace it with the pressure reg. the location of this flange on 01+ will not accept a FPR (bumps into the head).

deliverator 05-28-2008 12:44 PM

I'd be in for a 94-97.

Savington 05-29-2008 07:51 PM

In for a 94-97.

dc2696 05-29-2008 11:00 PM

I'd be down if it'll fit my 94 intake mani on my 99 head lol(it should)

Saml01 05-30-2008 12:08 AM

Id be interested, but I don't need the dual feed in it, just the fact that it has a larger bore then the factory fuel rail is enough.

tilt 05-30-2008 01:35 AM

interested 94-97

What?

Edit: I remember that thread on M.net where you were a stupid shit who argued that dual feed rails don't distribute fuel better than single feed rails. You need the dual-feed.

silentbob343 05-30-2008 06:11 AM

Interested in 94-97

Oscar 05-30-2008 07:09 AM

interested in 94-97

Redrocket27 05-30-2008 08:01 AM

I'd would most definitely buy a 94-97 dual feed rail. The bore would be more than stock, right?

hustler 05-30-2008 08:30 AM

I thought many more people here had the 99 head. I guess I'm just e-cool.

TonyV 05-30-2008 09:33 AM

Question, any reason why the middle mounting location isnt being used?
