I installed it and it's worked every time.

They are easy to sell when I part out my cars.

Can't tell if hidden marketing account fooling us to think member of community then post stuff like this or just pointless post.

It's pointless post.

FRT_Fun 06-23-2014 01:55 PM

It may have to do with the fairly consistent flow of issues with non-AEM UEGO widebands. Yes I know the short comings of the UEGO.

xkcd: Constructive

This one time I plugged in my UEGO and I didn't touch it again until I sold it because I bought another AEM product which I haven't touched since I installed it.

Yes but did it make you coffee?

kenzo42 06-23-2014 08:59 PM

My UEGO got me laid.

My lc-1 and I are in a fight....again. I may break up with it this time. Reads fine for a minute or 2 then bam 22afr.

I've installed it perfect too. I don't want to hear about it. Everyone I've read that has switched to the uego has never looked back. I hear really good things about the wideband NGk though above all else.

Success x3 here.

<<<< right there.

Pictures or it didn't happen.

Kramer 06-23-2014 11:52 PM

Working perfectly, 0 problems!

Tekel 06-24-2014 08:57 AM

My first uego sucked and didn't work. Then I replaced the o2 sensor and then the gauge. I figured out it was user error and my plug from the gauge to the sensor didn't have the clip so I didn't plug it in all the way. So now I have a second uego.

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let UEGO
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

In the last year, i've had the following on my cars:

MTX-L
LC-1
AEM Uego (the digital one everyone here seems to use)
AEM other thingy with the analog gauge
NGK AFX

I don't really have much in the way of complaints with any of them, but hilariously, the two that seem to be the most reliable so far are the AFX and the LC-1. I've been running the same LC-1 that i bought used over 4 years ago, with never ever ever a hiccup.

The Uego was pretty awesome, though. Was especially awesome how i was able to sell it for $10 under MSRP despite being used, which meant it funded the MTX-L purchase completely. :dealwithit:

I'll have to get my UEGO's permission - last time I posted pics of us she got all mad and didn't put out for a month.

18psi 06-24-2014 09:59 AM

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE stupid retarded idiotic "warm up" procedure of the MTX-L.

I want to punch the person that made it do that in the face.

The UEGO is awesome cause you get an actual reading in 5 seconds tops. This makes tuning WUE and other startup/warmup related things possibru.

Uhhh... you can do those things with the MTX-L as well if you wire it right.

What if i told you that you can read cranking AFRs with the MTX-L?

Yeah I don't care about that crap when I can just install a uego and have it read within a couple seconds every time, without any special funky wiring

Totally funky wiring. Involves moving one power wire. Shit's rough.

It ruined my day when the instructions for all three of my AEM gauges specified that they had to be wired in that manner.

Lincoln Logs 06-25-2014 01:12 PM

I had nothing but problems with my LC-1, it constantly would freeze and I had to go through multiple firmware updates as well. I sold it and switched to an AEM and have had zero problems. I just ordered an MTX-L for a client, hopefully it'll work alright.

FatKao 06-25-2014 09:48 PM

I'm another member of the threw away my LC-1 because it was a flaky piece of shit, installed a UEGO and lived happily ever after. Except the one time my o2 sensor broke or some shit, rattled around like there was a rock in it.

EO2K 06-26-2014 12:36 PM

I had a UGEO but sold it with my old ECU. Now have an MTX-L. Both seem to work fine but I agree with 18 on the warmup thing. Honestly, I hate them both because I dislike the dancing lights gauges.

Will be installing LC-2 w/VEI gauge when I get around to it. MTX-L will get installed in my truck, or get sold.
