My power steering pump **** the bed. It puked oil all over my driveway. I ordered a used one from Treasure Coast, cause I'm a cheapskate. It looks like there is o rings at the hoses, where they go into the pump. Can I take the pump to the parts store and find o rings that will fit them?

 

You should be able too. I would probably try to get Viton vs rubber, but the OEM ones are probably rubber and worked just fine for 20+ years. (Fairly certain you can buy an o'ring kit / sealing kit that will have everything in the exact sizes you need.)

 

I put the pump in today. I did it caveman style. Used the junkyard o rings. Greased them up good. Going for a 200 mile drive in the morning. If my windshield gets oiled I'll know somethings leaking.
