Default Hard Dog Rollbar M2 Hardcore for NA?

I wanted to see if M2 roll bars works in NA cars. from reading a number of websites including Bethania Garage/HD, it seems like the M2 bars will work fine for NA, and allows it to use some glass windows. I just wanted to make sure it's compatible. Another thing is I wanted to see what the difference is between the two bars. I mean in terms of coverage and saftety, if one is superior to the other.

The reason why I ask is, a friend of a friend is selling is M2 bar and I'm probably gonna buy it if it works.

yes... it will fit... and allow you to use a glass window top. But that's the only advantage to a "M2" bar.

so are there disadvantages to the M2 bar compared to the M1? Oh and since hardtops are all the same throughout the years, it shouldn't have a problem with my hard top right?

Not really. The M1 has a built-in harness bar whereas you have to buy it/install it seperatly for the M2.

Thanks again for the reply!

I see, interesting, the guy is selling it with a harness bar. Hmmm, the price suddenly becomes less attractive, since a new M1 bar already has a harness bar...for my car anyway, I don't plan on buying a NB.

Yea but if you ever change to a glass convertible top, you are screwed with the M1 bar.
