Pricing Question

I have a Miata diff housing with a rx7 clutch type lsd and cryo-treated 3.63 gears in it that I've had a few local folks ask to buy. What's a fair price for something like this?

400-500?
Its really not a sellers market right now.

^tell me about it.

I'd buy that for 450 probably.

I got one for $150 but no cryro gears, but all new friction discs.

Nice score, that's less than what the gears alone cost, not to mention getting it setup properly.

Thanks for the input everyone, gives me a pretty decent idea about what it's worth.

Do the ring and pinion bolt to the stock torsen unit? I'd be interested in those separately if you part them.

gears: $300
clutch diff: $150
housing: $100
assembly: $150

Having just put a setup like that together that's about what I paid. Anyone who wants that setup will have to piece it all together, just like we did since there is no off the shelf configuration with a clutch diff and 3.6 gears.

I would ask $600-$700 and settle in for the long sale.

I'd break it apart and sell the pinion housing w/pinion and ring gear together and then sell the diff meatball separately.

It's trivially easy to set up a new meatball but not as easy to set the pinion depth.

and customers may not want both together as often as not...

If it were a torsen unit, I'd pay about 500$ for it.
