It puts 15x8 +20 on the NB?
It takes the TR C1M 15x8 +20 and puts it on the 10AE-T?
This combo http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3322/...6c68df29_o.jpg But in this size http://lh6.ggpht.com/_4PRhGpWKCIk/Sn...0/IMG_0076.JPG What do you think, will it fit w/o fender mods? Smash or pass? |
Might have to roll depending on tire size and ride height.
|
I think it's at 12"F 12.5" rear. I was planning on running wide 205 50 15's on them, in the assumption that they would be more likely to fit in there than wider tires.
The rest of the fable is I have 15x8 6ULs with 205 50 15 KDW2's on there now. They fit with very minimal stretch on the 8" wheel, looks pretty baller actually. I figured I could put the KDW's on the C1M's, and get some proper 225 R comps for the ULs. |
looks like NA has cut fenders...
|
where could you find C1's in that size/offset?
|
depends on tires

search for '90 bmw 3-series |
you probably wont rub with 205/50/15 if you roll your fenders. I have 15x8 +15 wheels, fenders rolled, but If I use 205/50/15s, I get massive rubbing on bumps.
I am lowered substantially too, so that may be a factor. |
bitchin'! thanks soot, sorry Ben
|
Here's my logic:
15x9 +36 fits perfectly, no rolling required. 15x9 +36 and 15x8 +23 sit basically the same distance from the fender (within 1mm) 15x9 stretches a 225, 15x8 bulges it which reduces clearance (more room for rubbage) So, depending on ride height and tire size, you may have to roll. With 205s, I doubt you'll need to do either. |
post up pics when you are done please... I want to see what they look like. THat second picture is with a fukked up lens, the lip on the 15x8 is not that pronounced. I have seen them on e30.

with the car at the current ride height, i don't see it being that big of an issue.

Not a bad looking wheel, but the concavity and lip is exaggerated with the ricer vision lens. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_4PRhGpWKCIk/Sn...0/IMG_0079.JPG http://lh4.ggpht.com/_4PRhGpWKCIk/Sn...0/IMG_0075.JPG Went from being "zOMG teh hotnez" to "they'e ok" in my mind. Might just wait for a 2nd set of ULs to come available. For anyone interested, the owner of that red car is willing to trade his wheels straight up for some 15x9 ULs :jerkit: |

one of my friends has a set on his E30 and I actually have slightly better cell pic. I wanted to test fit them on my NA, but I ran out of time. I think they would fit with 205's on a NB no problem though. I'm not sure they'll clear my big rotors without a spacer and I'm pretty sure I'll have to roll in the rear for 225's.

are those 888s 205s?

I have the 15x7.5 c1. I wanted the 15x8's but they weren't out. I'm going to try the 15x8's with a 195/50 tire.

If your name is Alex it might have been me. The kid i'm thinking of was driving a civic. The car is a little more beat up now. It needs body work and a wider stance. Yeah that was a while back though haha.
